- We sell your furniture and accessories on consignment and you receive 50% of the sale price. We must preview your furniture and when possible suggest a retail price. We only take clean items in excellent condition that are ready to sell. If we have to fix or clean an item, a deduction will be made for time and/or materials. All furniture needs to be previewed first and only when accepted can it be delivered by appointment (Tuesday, Friday and Sundays only) and must be brought in by the consignor. If you require a pick up, you will receive a call from our pick up company and be quoted a price for pick up. That fee will be deducted off your first consignor cheque.
- All Décor items (accessories, lights, pictures, dishes, small items) that you consign must be dropped off in a box or container with a detailed, itemized list of the items, and include the lowest price that you will accept per item. Décor items will only be accepted Sunday through Wednesday and only at the back door entrance. Include your name, address, phone number and any other contact information that you feel would be important. Declined items must be retrieved within three days. A call will be made to you and if they are not picked up within three days we will assume that you do not wish to retrieve them and and they will be donated. No exceptions please.
- Upon acceptance, we will agree on a price and decide where to place your furniture in our showroom. Your furniture may be advertised on our blog at http://themillionairesdaughter.blogspot.com/.
- All consignors agree to place items in the store for 4 months. Price reductions are done under the following terms:
After 60 days - reduction by 15%
After 90 days - reduction by 10%
After 120 days - reduction by 10% - The Consignor must stipulate to The Millionaire's Daughter what the least amount that they will take for the furniture or we will price item as we see fit to sell. It is in our best interest to get the best price, but we do need to know your lowest amount for negotiations. Consignors are paid when the item sells, cheques are made out the 15th of each month for the previous month and must be picked up at the store. If you wish a cheque to be mailed, we will mail at the end of the 4th month all combined or when all items have been sold.
